Are you shocked that there were "enthusiastic" Prince fans before you were born? Or, are you shocked that people tried to crash a Prince after party? Why are you shocked- you use Princebonics. None of this should be particularly srange to you. S eye'm just shocked y'all would know so much about some chick with no name that danced in some show like 30 years ago who just happened 2 b a P fan!

Well, in my and others' defense - while Dance Party *was* admittedly rather cheesy and lame, it was more like a dance show+soap opera in that (certain) dancers on the show were given more airtime and were focused on past just their dancing..i.e. their lives outside the show, their dating/love lives, etc. Speaking for myself, being a teen at that time, I ate it up (like did many others who may or may not admit it)! And speaking of Princess specifically, because I was also such a huge Prince fan myself only made her more interesting to me. She was also a host on the show for the last few years it was on so people got to 'know' her more that way, as well, as she was much more visible and had a larger role than just dancing. Lastly, the show wasn't on "30 years ago". I'd bet money you yourself or folks around your age could give an in-depth 10 hour seminar on Beverly Hills 90210 and every separate character on the show and all the accompanying minutae and trivia behind them, too.

One of my favorite memories is watching P's video " Want To Be Your Lover" on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert. It was a cool treat b/c at that time MTV wasn't in existence in the late 70's.

There was a guy she danced with often but I'm not sure he was a big Prince fan. well, if I remember correctly, I think he was a tall, young, black teenager.... Romeo? Something like that... Yeah, Kirschner played a lot of Prince videos back then(Why you Wanna Treat Me So Bad, Uptown, Dirty Mind, Controversy, Sexuality). That's how I got hooked on Prince. My friends thought he was too weird, after all, he wasn't what a "black artist" should be. I guess that's what drove me to his music. Like Sly Stone, Prince did everything. I had a cousin who LOVED the J-5. she wall papered her room with black and white mag phots of them. I mean you could not see one INCH of bare wall, even the ceiling had pics. I was about 5 but I did like Marlon. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack

There was a guy called "Spicey" who danced on there back then. Maybe that was the guy that she danced with a lot. I remember me and my sister being so into the show, and even (like dorks) video taped Princess dancing to U Got the Look.

Ahhhh!!!! I remember her!!! I was convinced I was going to marry her. A hot blond that loved Prince!!! My type of girl!!!!! Everybody's lookin 4 the ladder, it's in the garage

Hell yeah, I remember her. She represented and I watched that show everyday. I swear there is a blonde woman on the inside of the DVD case of Prince in Las vegas, at the Aladdin who looks just like Princess. Is that her? The last time I saw her she was a student at Temple. Do you remember the other Prince fan, Heather? Tall, skinny, cute. "The fanbase I have now, they're so sophisticated, they almost expect me to do the unexpected." -Prince
