Showmanship: I"m sure everyone here would agree no one put's on a show like Prince.
His talent: Mulit-instrumentalist The man plays bass, drums, keys, and guitar and kicks ass on all of them.
His music: Sott, 1999, TGE, Dirty mind...need I say more.
His Convention: Dispite all the riducule and the crap he got from critics and some fans, he remain who he was and showed that he's still one of the baddest mutha***** around.
His Women: Vanity, Mayte, Carmen, Apples...Damn the boy got good taste in women.

Hate
His Arrogance: Why in interviews can't he just give a straight fuckin answer, and what makes him think that he's the only one that plays live music.
His Selfishness : Let's face it P can be a selfish litte bastard ie: the vault.
The NPGMC: I don't belong but I've heard enough horror stories here on the org. and from friends not to waste my money.
His women: Only because I'm jealous

And let me add, the womanizing in such a coldblooded way. How he allegedly did Nona, and all the other stories about Susannah, Susan, Mayte...
It seems like the women who was as coldhearted as he, got the best end of the stick among exes... Vanity, Carmen,... because they didn't lose their heart over him, knew it was a game and played it like a pro... of course, those are the ones that evidently wounded him, judging by the songs he wrote about them.

1) the quick way he throws a hissy fit at fans if someone mentions the word "bootleg" and then calls the lawyer on speed dial
2) when he contradicts himself
3) when he changes his classic borderline "nasty" songs to make them child friendly
4) gangsta glam
5) his fatigued look during the "most beaufiful girl in the world" era

Love:

His confidence---when he's stage, he looks like a man who believes noone can beat him; and who did he write Cream about after all.

His insight---certain lyrics just really capture universal feelings in a unique and memorable way (of course some of his other lyrics are kinda stupid too)

His bravery---No bass in "When Doves Cry"...who does that?

His uniqueness---There is noone like him; there have been some cheap iminitations over the years.

His sense of humor---The cat is funny..."cabbagehead"...hillarious...and his interviews are usually a riot.



Hates

His Marketing saavy---His single selection has sabotauged several fine albums that could have
gone deep in singles

His preachiness---Okay, dude we get it...it wasn't a cross...but don't change the name of the song we all love so much.

His fickleness---Has any other musician in the world gotten sick of his own work quicker than P...I loved the album a year thing but the level of quality did eventually catch up.

His "holier than thouness"---Alright, live music, yadda yadda...own your own masters...yadda, yadda...dude, it's easy to say that when you own 7 houses.

His jerkiness---The road is paved with Prince proteges that couldn't keep up and were summarily run over...even though I really wouldn't have minded if he would have run Tony M over with a truck.

-The fact how he has so much energy and entusiasm. Especially at 46. My dad is 50 and my dad can't move like he used to.
-The fact that he can play an assortment of instruments.
-The fact that he influenced me to learn more about music and what and who is behind the music.
-The fact that he has put so much into his music.
-Hes just hott

HATE
-I hate that he doesn't care enough about his fans. If it wasn't for us, he would not be here in the music industry, and if he keeps doing the nonsense he is doing, his fans are going to leave his side.
-I hate the fact that he disrespects women, and even though he seems very in love with Mani, who knows what happens at home. What we see of Prince outside his private life, who knows whats going on within his private life.
-I hate the fact that he keeps pushing his religion on us. It's starting to get really annoying to where I am now changing the channel when he's talking about that.
-I hate the lawsuits. I will never join the NPGMC site, because mainly it sucks.
-I hate the fact that he doesn't play his old "dirty" songs. He shouldn't be ashamed of what he once did. He should embrace it because thats what made him a big musican.

3. his hair during graffiti bridge... MJ/female-esque.
4. that Purple Rain: 20th Anniv. had no deleted scenes. WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THAT PRINCE. I KNOW UR ASS WAS BEHIND THAT YOU SHORT MOTHER...i love him tho.
5. the fact that Prince knows that we want him, we obsess about him, and there's nothing we can do about it. 50 years from now, he'll roll around in his grave about it and still laugh. I bet he has that evil laugh too....
