Prince opened one of the ONA Japan shows in 2002 playing the drums...It was kick ass. "I have a date with Lisa. Isn't that wonderful?" | |

In 1993, in Paris, he finished one of his two shows with a drum solo. I was there. He surprised everybody cause it was like the show was totally over. The lights were on and suddenly, as the crowd started to leave the arena, he came back. | |

In the "Sign O The Times" movie, he takes over for Sheila for a little while on "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night". Andy is a four letter word. | |

The ONA concert in Vegas. After the lights went down to start the show, the lights came back on to show Prince on the drums and he was killing it. Then the lights went down and John B killed it on the drums then the lights wen out again and then the lights came on to show Sheila E on the drums killing them too. Part of why the DVD was to some extent a ripoff. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

he played drums at a soundcheck at the brabanthallen in den bosch in 1993.i slipped in through a side door and watched it for a while untill one of the monkeys caught me and "gently"pushed me out.
at the one night alone tour he played with a drumstick on the stage during a soundcheck, this very stick is now in my memorablia cabinet. | |

from what i can remember, he just asked the audience at the soundcheck what they wanted him to do and someone said "drums!"
