Where did you get those figures?

I'd say they are talking about the ACTUAL first print copies that all got thrown away, and only a few of the orignal left.

1.
Original late 1987 version: about 40 albums “survived” the destroyer. This one is worth a lot!!!!
Indeed ….. 10.000 dollars or more has been paid for it. I guess the value decreased a little after the 1994 release.

2.
The bootleg-versions released from 1988 ‘till 1994: they ain’t worth shit.

3.
The 1994 official version in black vinyl: worth about 25 euro’s (30 dollars)
The 1994 official version in peach vinyl: worth about 100 euro’s (135 dollars)
The 1994 official version in white vinyl: worth about 400 euro’s (500 dollars)

The original 1987 vinyl pressing used to go for about $10.000...
Ever since the 1994 release no right minded person has paid more than $1.100 for the original 1987 vinyl... And it's not worth more than that nowadays...

The 1994 official version in peach vinyl (limited to 1000 copies): $50 - $75
The 1994 official version in white vinyl (limited to 300 copies): $250 - $300

The price is a decedent issue ..... depends on the place you live too, I think those coloured vinyls were only released in the US?!
.... but they're worthy anyway

Yeah they were, but not released to stores, they're promo's...
The grey vinyls were issued to WB suits...
The peach and white vinyls could be obtained then for free by calling WB...

.... In Holland, I payed a little more than 10 dollars for the peach vinyl in 1995,
that's a lot more than for free!! .... but it's a nice price!

That's a good price... I heard it too late that WB was sending out the free promo's so when I called they only a few of the peach vinyls left, so I only got that one...
But a couple of years later I got the white and grey vinyl's from a retired collector who sold 'em on AMP for $50 each...

How do the different versions look?

I can't tell whether mine is a bootleg or not, but I got it in 88' and it sounds excellent. Don't care if it's worth anything.
