Prince would definetely have grounds to sue these people. He's been using the phrase "New Power Soul" as a staple of his music since 1988.

It's just a funk cover band that actually plays Prince music. It's just a nod to Prince by using the name. Besides, Prince ain't gonna play Sexy MF anytime soon, but NPS are...
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I met the lead singer of this band during two of the afterparties during the Musicology tour. He is a big Prince fan and a very nice guy. I have also seen the band perform. They are very good. They play play all types of music and they play Prince songs. biggrin
