The Holy River
Especially the line: "If you ask God to love you longer, every breath you take will make you stronger." Don't know why, but my body shakes and I break down every time. I can't play that song out as a result because I get that reaction every time. Weird. Anyone ever really consider the fact that Prince might actually be from the Father? Like directly. Especially considering some of his songs that are known to be written from experience don't seem to have as much emotional weight as SISIA. "You surrounded yourself with all the wrong faces spending your time in all the wrong places puttin your faith in things that only make you cry" This part makes me think of my lover who I love and hate and the same time, yet try to break things off with him but can't... "Can't call nobody cause they'll tell you straight up come and make love when you reall hate em" I've never once casually listened to this song without being affected emotionally in some way or form. | |
