i really like N.E.W.S. i can understand why this hasn't hit the mainstream but i really like this L.P. You can lose yourself in it because it sustains a really powerful feeling for each track and allows you to explore each feeling more deeply than you can imagine.
you can just chill out and have this L.P. on headphones. i also think on the album sleeve it's cool when it says: New Directions In Music it could be seen as being really pretentious but i think in many ways it's true In this bed ice cream | |

you know, i gave my sweetie a bunch of bowie and prince CDs to listen to because he doesn't know a whole lot about either of them, and this weekend while i was helping him with some stuff around his house, he threw on N.E.W.S. and said that it was his favorite prince disc out of all the stuff i gave him. go figure! | |

This is terrific piece of work.I LOVE listening to N.E.W.S when i'm traveling long distances....it keeps me awake (contrary to popular opinion...lol)when i'm driving and relaxes me.
