After a somewhat steady slide down on the urban airplay chart, Call My Name has actually rebounded this week with a +41 spins, and has also increased it's spins on Urban/AC, where it's still the #1 song. If this trend continues tomorrow, this should bump it up the billboard R&B charts next week (where it's currently #26). It's time to request it some more and see if Prince can crack the top 20, which should itself boost airplay on the urban stations.

My 12yo daughter loves this song - she plays it in the car whenever I'm driving her anywhere.

That's cool news but it still bothers me that Sony didn't do enough to get this song on the Pop stations ar the Adlut Contemporary charts. They better get to crackin with A Million Days.

A Million Days isn't out yet and Call My Name is still gaining in popularity. The odd thing is that they spent the money to shoot the call my name video, but make it so difficult to watch. It's not on the NPGMC site, it's not on sony's site, and while it's on VH-1's site, it's in a format mac users can't watch. I always thought videos were supposed to promote the song, so why make it so hard to watch one?
