Prince wins 6 Minnesota Music Awards

In a blurb that isn't online the Pioneer Press said Prince did not show up to the awards, but here is a list of all the winners from twincities.com

Given that 2004 has already seen Prince's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a return to the Billboard charts and a hit tour, it's not too surprising that Prince swept the Minnesota Music Awards, held Wednesday night in St. Cloud. I've always loved this band's name, and I always see it listed in the back of City Pages when you look for what bands are playing. I want to go see them just for their name alone. lol

Do people at the awards groan when he gets another Minnesota Music Award, or do they still feel proud for the little champ?

Hookers and Blow was the ficticious name for the Maxxim Magazine house band. Cool name though wink

perhaps more importantly, do each of these awards count toward an album sale for "musicology"?
