During Monday Night Football ABC showed a promo for this show and a shot of
Prince from the Musicology vid.Does anyone know of an appearance?

I was going to ask the SAME QUESTION!!!

As a Green Bay Packers fan, you know I was tuned in...and REALLY surprised to see Prince's picture there.

My wife looked at me and said, "Prince's gonna be there?"

And I said, "I doubt it..."

But since she said "Prince's gonna be there," I had to get up off the couch and launch into a verse of "Musicology." Those of you who have seen or heard it live know what I'm talkin about!

So, does anyone know anything?

well, prince did the world music awards back in '94, so who knows. either way, i plan on watching the WMAs...it's the most shamelessly and unintentionally tacky awards show on television. the MTV video music awards wishes it could be as horrible as the world music awards.

Where do they film it?

Since he's doing "A Million Days"
over the weekend in LA maybe he'll go to Vegas first.

For the first time in its history, "The 2004 World Music Awards" will be presented in Las Vegas, in a live telecast which will air on the ABC Television Network.

The show, which highlights the world's best-selling recording artists, will feature performances by Usher, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Josh Groban, Avril Lavigne, Kanye West and Hilary Duff.

For 10 years ABC has broadcast "The World Music Awards," which took place in Monte Carlo. This year, for the first time, the show will originate live from Las Vegas. The show is seen worldwide in more than 150 countries.

Legendary recording industry executive Clive Davis will receive the Outstanding Contribution to the Music Industry Award.

Whitney gave a good performance. Can she hit some of those notes like she used to? No. But apparantly age (and drugs) have taken their toll. I mean how many years could she scream like that? But her lower register was quite soulful. All the trademark divadom was there. The audience loved her. She didn't make a fool of herself. Good job girl!

All things considered, I think that Whitney gave a really good performance, especially compared to the last time I saw her perform on that MJ special. That was the worst.
