Man, like Prince in his Morris voice said on 'Tricky': "Yes! Yes! That's right. YES!"

Maybe it's "swim in your love sea"? smile

LOL...every so often,we keep having this same debate over what Prince is really saying:) When Rolling Stone magazine reviewed the 'Lovesexy' album, they quoted Prince as saying "U want me 2 swim in your love sea".But,as fans on this site have pointed out,it's more likely that Prince is really saying "Swivel in your love seat",since he also mentions walking down "your halls",and doesn't he also mention the "living room"? He also talks about "writing(his) name on your walls". So,it's clear that he is in her "house"(as opposed to,say,a beach...lol...),it makes sense that he would recline back in her "love seat"...lol....

Anybody care to shed some light on this?? smile

The ending of Adore is probably the greatest ending to a love song ever written. I can start at "Be with me darlin' til the end of all time..." and just listen too it over and over! IMO, this was his best song ever, from amusical standpoint.

Other's include:

Let's Work - Bass solo during "work alright, we gonna work all night....."

Batdance- Guitar Solo

Count the Days: " Like Frankie Beverly without Maze..I'm counting...Motherfucker I count the days!..."

LaLaLa HeeHeeHee 12"- "Play that thang" funk guitar solo.

Computer Blue - Guitar solo just befor the "Father's Song" part.

Gett Off (MTV Music Awards) - Ending where he starts the "feel good in the house, somebody say Oh Yeah!..." The groove just got ridiculously funky and rode out!
"We can play 4 days! If it get dry, gimme that mayonaise!"

I thought I was the only one who noticed how cool and funky this part is! He's also mumbling something around this part too, right? This part is definitely one of my faves. Though, am I the only one who at least halfway cringes at the part at the beginning where the Gameboyz all lay on him and he screams like he's being penetrated (sorta like in the video). LOL! I'm sure it's done as a joke, but still, it's weird.

That was cool as hell, he turned around telling everyone to kiss his ass.

But my favorite part of a song was the part in "If I Was Your Girlfriend" when he says something like 'Yeah, we'll try 2 imagine what silence looks like' and it goes into that drumbeat. Classic

"U could burn up my clothes, smash up my ride, well maybe not the ride."

It's got to be one of my favorites too, Billy

- There's a certain part in the guitar solo of Purple Rain that gives me chills!!!

- The Horns in Billy Jack Bitch

- Right before the guitar solo in "Gold" when he goes "1-2-1-2-3 Whoo-Hoo".

- On the video for the Purple Rain Tour. During Let's Go Crazy right before the first guitar solo he says "I'm Commin' to get ya honey!"

- The part on Nothing Compares 2 U when Rosie screams "I'm Willing 2 give it 1 more try". She takes it to chuch, not church, chuch.

- During "Everlasting Now" when he goes "On the 1, sike!!"
JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

starting a song ( i think it's "a love bizarre", but haven't listened to it for awhile..) not with "1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4"- but instead with

"A, B, A, B, C, D"

that is so abstract and righteous!

and in prince's version of "all day, all night" (i haven't heard jill jones' version so can't say) the way the keyboard riff in the chorus advances, getting longer by one note at a time. abstract!

and whoever said the little change at the end of "play in the sunshine"- right ON! that was one of the things that got me into prince, too. i was 13 and transported.

also the beautiful seesawing little guitar line that comes in at the fade of "forever in my life".

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
