Prince: Hollywood beckons?

Knowing what a Prince geek I am, one of my colleagues just quickly handed me the pop gossip page - 'Hot' - from today's 'The Daily Star' (UK tabloid newspaper).

It's not something I'd usually read - ! - but I thought I'd post this tit-bit about P.

Scripts fit for a Prince:

Prince is to return to acting some 20 years since Purple Rain.

The bonkers love dwarf, who shocked the world by recently becoming a Jehovah's Witness, won an Oscar for best score for that 1986 flick. But apart from cameo roles, he has not stepped in front of the camera in the past 15 uears.

Now, with dwindling music sales, the reclusive superstar has decided the times is right to step back into the limelight and is currently weighing up a number of different offers.

He told me: "I never retired from acting in the first place.

"I had always left that window open. I was just waiting for a truly amazing script".

hmmm

'bonkers love dwarf' - neutral

'20 years since Purple Rain' - aah, so that'd be 1984.

'won an Oscar for that 1986 flick' - confuse

'dwindling record sales' - yes, Top 3 UK album, best-selling since 'D&P' wacky

'has not stepped in front of a camera in the past 15 years' - nearly right!

hah! - He told me " I never retired from acting in the first place'. Er, yeah, I can just see Prince having an audience with The Star's Joe Mott.

Ok, it is The Daily Star but I just thought I'd share it with y'all. shrug

I wonder what movie we could expect to see Prince in? Any ideas..?

I wouldnt give that crap paper any credence whatsover!!! Theres nothing but fabricated stories in it, in amongst pics of mindless bimbos baring their boobs!!! Its just pure utter junk, like The Sun and The Daily Mirror!! These "newspapers" are in the same category as The National Enquirer!!!

Bitches! lol Er, no - I don't. But virtually everyone I know knows I like Prince. So I get to hear all manner of stuff, like the above.

As a gay man I'm not really into Page 3 Stunnas, either. confused
