reason it has too uch filler on it. imo here are the

im sorry,but hands down 4 me it was "NEW POWER SOUL" ALBUM"it was the weakest in terms of quality songs!!!.....

I didn't realize how lame the "Come" album was until recently.

IMO the worst of the 90's is "Rave".
It contains one really great song ("I Love U But I Can't Trust U Anymore") but that's all.
Personally I find it a little uninspired and boring....

NEW POWER SOUL save for The One. Chaos had some suckfest moments too but no other album but NPS makes me tense and angry.

New Power Soul or Chaos and Disorder...kinda like choosing between hanging out in a garbage dump or a sewer. They tie for inept suckitude.

New Power Soul was the first time I was totally disappointed with a Prince album (if you don't count Kamasutra or the NPG projects). No Prince album since then has made me feel so frustrated -- it's the only album that has more than one song that I absolutely can't stand -- NPS has several of these -- most of which I never intend to listen to ever again.

I have to say Rave Un2 was very lame, Rave In2 was a bit better and really should have been the official release. Winding Road was an absolute disaster, talk about killing a song! TGRES is also weak, and even weaker on In2...

I thought NPS was ok. Nothing fantastic, but I did enjoy it for a time after its release. Mad Sex is wicked! Come On is pretty cool too, well, great verse somewhat dull chorus.

Emancipation was pretty dire in my opinion. I just cant get past all the skipping to get to the good tracks. Definately should have been trimmed to a single CD album and had all the soft "gay" RnB thrown in the trash.

Chaos I thought was excellent. This is a very underated album I reckon. Lots of energy, great guitar licks. It doesnt pretend to be anything other than what it is, a good uncompromising listen, safe but catchy.

What is wrong with D & P? I think this is a pretty cool album. I think D&P, GB & Symbol have some good energy. Take away the Tony rapping (which makes it sound dated) and there is some real inspiration going on there. After Symbol the energy went and the RnB came to the fore. Unfortunately, that was where Prince and myself started to disagree...

Truth is quite rubbish really. Sounds thrown together quickly, rushed and even made up on the spot at times...

What else was in the 90's? Oh, Gold. An ok album, a little over produced, but pretty good. Im sure he could have done better considering O+> was "exploding" onto the scene at the time and Prince was officially "dead". Chaos & Gold Double album perhaps?

Come. Apart from Papa & Dark a pointless album. Loose has gotta be one of the worst tracks P has attempted ("gay" RnB aside). Orgasm? What was the point in that? Solo? He must be joking. Race? Did he not learn before that his rap style sucks? Space? Why that version when Universal Love is such a fantastic song?

So the worst of the 90's? I have to say Crystal Ball. The infuriating shambles in trying to order it, pay for it and then receive it was a nightmare. Then to buy it in HMV months later because I hadnt received it made wanting to hear it a desperate "need". And the disapointment that followed, well, I remember thinking that if that was his best choice from the "vault" then the vault aint all its cracked up to be. I honestly felt ripped off with that one, especially when I started hearing mutterings that P was making a fortune out of it... Baconskin? What on earth....? What is that? like 12 minutes of monotany! Talk about filler...
