Replacement albums

As I write this, I reflect on the fact that I need to replace my copy of "1999" because it simply refuses to play "DMSR" without skipping, and I can't have that! What albums have you worn through so much that you have needed to replace them?

Here's my list...

Dirty Mind- on my 2nd copy
Controversy- on my 3rd copy
1999- soon to be on my 6th copy- eek
Purple Rain- on my 2nd copy
Sign o' the Times- on my 2nd copy
Lovesexy- on my 2nd copy
Symbol- on my 2nd copy
B-Sides- I just made a CDR from my bro's so I wouldn't have to shell out another $50 razz
The Gold Experience- soon to be on my 3rd copy.

Wow! I guess I should consider myself lucky. I play my Prince CD's to death & I've never had to replace any of them. Are you guys also using your Prince CD's for coasters or something?!

LOL, xtruex, i've never had to replace any yet....
Now, some of them i've bought on CD because my first copy was an album or tape.
Just remembered that my '1999' CD doesn't include "DMSR", something about them not having enough space to include it.
I know the newer ones have that song included...Damn!!
Gotta go now...on my way to the wrecka stow.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Symbol album: went from tape 2 video 2 CD (the irony? I wasn't crazy about this album when it 1st came out)
SOTT: So worn out, the audio on the tape actually has VOID spotting throughout. Time 2 purchase CD replacement (+ video). confused smile
Other than that, all releases pre-GOLD are tapes needing 2 B replaced by CD's.
