Musicology follow-up Any word on what the follow-up to Musicology might be? I'm wondering if there's been any time to record what with all the recent touring. I'm also wondering what kind of pressure there is to record a "hit" like Musicology. I'm sure the attention has been fun for a change. | |

There are persistent rumors of a new jazz(y) album, but nothing official yet. As far as I know, Prince hasn't given any indication what he's going to do after the current tour ends (last scheduled date is this Saturday...).  I'm dying to know myself...for one thing, the NPG is so tight now, I hope he keeps this band together for a bit and does something with them.  "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great.
