CINNAMON GIRL CD-SINGLE IN HOLLAND

Hi

I don't know if this has been reported yet, but the "Cinnamon Girl" cd single has been
released in Holland.

It's a nice looking single. Just the regular plastic casing with printed booklet insert of
the same making we saw on the promopictures at the org a while ago.

The single features

01. Cinnamon Girl
02. Dear Mr Man (Live at Webster Hall)
03. United States Of Division
04. Dear Mr Man (Live at Webster Hall video)

Track 1 is, far as I could tell the same as the album version. Track 2 & 4 are from the
MTV semi-unplugged (Art Of Musicology) special.

Track 3 is same as npgmc version.

Notably, "United States Of Division" is simply accompanied by "produced by Prince" &
has no other information like who plays on it and sings on it etc.

All in all, this is a very nice single.

First time ever, I think, that Prince includes a live song on a single as a B-side, tho,
in all fairness it feels more like it's a double A-side what with the inclusion of the vid
for "Dear Mr Man" as well as the live track.

Anywho, it's a nice, decent single which will appeal to a lot of non-fanatic fans since
it finally hails the return of the non-album b-side and some nice perks.

Photograph is also very nice on the package.

The catalogue number is: COL 675142 2,

barcode is: 5 099767 514221

Sony Music 6751422000

I didn't even know it was released yet! I just went to the recordstore yesterday to buy the
"Best Of Björk" dvd and incidentally asked the clerk if he knew when the new Prince single
would be released. To my surprise he said:

"Ah, I think we just got that one yesterday! Here it is!"

I just went.....

I hear from kewl sources that the carton version, the so called SINGLE (as opposed to the MAXY single you describe here) has another LIVE version; Musicology from the Art Of- program.

Just so you know. Don't miss it.

Try HMV.CO.UK. I saw it online there. If you live in Canada, go to your nearest HMV, they can order it on import. Not very expensive. wink

Too Bad...SONY Holland announced this one, but it was withdrawn (and as far as my sources go, not even pressed as a promo but I hope i am wrong about htat one..)

So it's 'just' the 4-tracker.
