At the beginning of the "Raspberry Beret" video, a cute blonde thang wearing a raspberry colored beret hands Prince his guitar. She sits at his side throughout the video. Was this just a lucky extra or was she of some greater importance (friend, lover, otherwise?)

She looks like Lisa Keith and if you're a true fan of the MN sound, you will know who that is.

Her name is Jackie Swanson.

She's been in a few movies & television shows in small roles, but she is best known as 'Kelly Gaines', Woody's girlfriend on the TV show Cheers.

Rumors are that she and Prince dated for awhile.

Although I must admit I didn't know who she was either, until up about a year or so ago when someone else here on the Org said who she was. (I was very surprised to discover she was "Kelly" from Cheers. I have always been a big fan of that show but never recognized her as being the same girl in the RB video..) You find out lots of good stuff from hanging around this place.
