Prince Makes People's Worst Dressed List (again) (note: this should be a thumbs down thread, not thumbs up.)
It is a photo of Prince in a blue suit, the one he wore to the Golden Globe party in January 2004. They said the suit was unsuitable and made comments of someone should tell him next time to watch out for the "wet paint" sign. I provided a picture of the unsuitable outfit in question. He should have worn a purple shirt and handkerchief w/ that torqoise, like he did during P.R. in D.C. That color combo was so fly, I could not even believe my own daggone eyes. I love this suit! I think it is one of my fave of recent photos. I even think the black looks good. Excuse me, but I think Prince is one of the finest dressing male entertainers. I normally love Prince's sense of style, but know he sometimes fails miserably in his attempts, so this didn't surprise me. But that outfit ain't so bad. People's crazy. if he lookin like a deranged hippie...worst dressed if he lookin all emaciated with the clothes wearin him rather then him wearin the clothes...worst dressed. if he lookin sofisticated...worst dressed...face it he can't win! Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

I love most of Prince's fashions but I have never liked the high waisted pants he wears sometimes, the cut off shirts above the naval, or the hip hugger bell bottoms he wore in the "Kiss" video. Another trend I hated was on the American Music Awards performance in 1995....I couldn't stand that black shirt with the white NPG letters on it. I thought it looked childish. Andy is a four letter word. | |

Y'all know if you saw some brother with a perm walking down the street in a turquoise suit with matching turquoise high heels, y'all would think he was "pimped out," rather than "best dressed." Go on ahead and admit it.
