I've been listening to "Automatic" a lot lately, and I really want to see him perform it live. Sadly, I think that song is one that won't be resurrected in concert in the near future. I know that song was one he did in the 8-3-83 show, and it's such a classic show, I just feel like I'm missing out by not seeing it. Not asking for it, I'm simply whining because I'm going through major Prince withdrawals after seeing him Monday night in Seattle. I need more Prince live!

He sang a little bit of it at the celebration two years ago. The crowd gasped in unbelief! The Org is the short yellow bus of the Prince Internet fan community.

You mean "the crowd gasped in disbelief". . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

There's a couple of versions doing the rounds on DVD - just make sure you track down the "Rupert" version and not the VCD sourced DVD. The "Rupert" version is very good clear footage considering the age of the source.
(There is also going to be an even better quality version soon, if the "restorer" decides to actually release it.) An absolute classic gig and great to see these tracks performed for the first time. All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -
