If he was a fan of country music, what top 3 singers or musical groups in that genre would he like?

I would say:
1. Steve Earl
2. Kentucky Railroad (for the backing band)
3. And Brooks and Dunn for the harmonies.

i cant even believe im taking this seriously but...

he might listen 2 bluegrass lol think about how much skill u would need 2 play that (banjo, guitar, etc) i unno maybe for the actual musical aspect, prolly not for the artist....

Yes, but that song "Still the One" could pass for an Eagles song, or any poppy or southern rock style song--not country in my opinion.

You guys say this laughingly and I understand it. But what you fail to realize is that prince has been yodeling for 20 years now, strange but true, just one of those eclectic wacky touches that make him prince. It doesn't even make you think of country music when he does it but that's where he got it.
