They sound a lot alike, I prefer Scandalous. But I am not a big fan of either of them, I think they are both not great and I don't like his voice on these songs. Wrong answer. These two songs are on a very short list of true Prince slow jams. If Do Me Baby is the prototype these songs are the real deal. Instead of the young man begging, we get the master enticing. Beautiful Ones isn't a true slow jam and neither is Adore. Those songs aren't intended solely as mood setters. The same goes for Damn U or any other slow song by Prince. Damn! Is that true? Prince only has three true slow jams. I guess so. That surprises me. Back to the topic. At the moment Insatiable has the edge, though I hope that is subject to change.  |
