[Was It My] Face? -Prince Track or Cover???? Prince's performance of the song -which I think is called "[Was Is My] Face?" on the New Morning Paris Aftershow in 1987.
Is that a Prince original or is it a cover, and if so, who wrote the song????? The question allready came up on the 'blues' thread but no one seemed to know over there..... And while we're on the subject, "People Without", that IS a Prince song, right???? Only version I've ever hear of it is the "Paard Van Troje: Small Club" performance. | |

New Morning Club (AM 15 June'87): According to Uptown's 'Days of Wild', it is an instrumental jam based around Instant Funk's 'I Got My Mind Made Up', which you can also hear him sing. The jam also incorporates Madhouse's 9.
'People Without': said to have been made up on the spot (AM 19 Aug 1988), incorporating part of Madhouse's 6. The song was also performed AM 31 August '88 at Grosse Freiheit 36 in Hamburg. Prince played it alone on piano.
