In the scene after his father shoots himself and the kid starts trashing everything in the room....he makes this funny little noise. It's kinda like this really weak and crackly sounding "eehh". It's supposed to be this really dramatic scene, but this noise that he makes just cracks me up.

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

the part that always makes me giggle is when jill says "wait, i've got something for you!" and he says, "what, a subpoena?" Prince, what a cut-up.

I guess I never thought that was funny before, but the more I think about it, the funnier it gets.
Another funny scene is the "password" bit. Classic.

The part that always makes me laugh is when he's talking to his dad and he says "Answer me motherfucker and then he does that turn. The turn is hilarious! I do it in the mirror sometimes,

i love when he does the smooth little dance move when Apollonia blows him a kiss during i would die 4 u...

This is funny because my friend and I always start bustin' up at this particular part. We always try 2 make the same funny noise..... It never works out.

But then again he should have realized he was totally trashing his dads sheet music....

I love when Prince and appolinia are getting it on in his bedroom she was a lucky girl c where his hand went.I still feel a bit u know when i c that i love his acting though funny but sexy and love the darling nikki song the way he performs.

I love that noise, it's like a little yelp he'd do on record. It's SO cute! And I love that about a second later he realizes what the papers are & he looks up @ them, just like a child in awe. I love that part



On another note, if it were me in the "love scene" w/ P & he did the panty caress I would have been a mess like she was I think Apollonia was seriously out of it in that scene (i.e. turned on), she looks like a ragdoll in his arms LUCKY GIRL!

The part that's funny to me is when Prince is backstage in the "dressing room" and Prince is talking to Billy (I think that is his name, the man with the glasses), well that man says: Just like your old man.

That part, his hand movements, so funny to me. I laugh hard all the time. And especially when PRINCE says, "F*** off!"

I also laugh when PRINCE is rubbing his chin in that I-got-an-idea kind of way, during "Darling Nikki" and I think during "Baby I'm A Star" -- those faces he makes, boy, Prince is funny.

The part that makes me giggle, well-- it's when Prince is singing Beautiful Ones and he says, "I know what I want, yeah" and those eyes get so big!

I giggle during the sexy scene in his bedroom with Appolonia, it's always on fast forward(cuz my kids are watching it with me), they look pretty funny movin that fast. (Yes I have memerized that peice on regular speed, but Appy just is'nt there, my brain has blacked out her face,Hmmmmm.... wonder who's there?)

The "What's the Password" scene is extra-funny because, if you watch closely, it looks like Morris is reading all of his lines from a card on the far wall!

I like the part when He jumps off the piano and into the splits and rips offs a fart ....its back when Prince used to eat meat, ya know. Anyways they had to edit this outta the final cut even tho it was just barely audible over the music. jk

what about just after Apollonia 6 performs and Billy walks past him and says, "Betta kick ass tomorrow night or else" Prince turns and shoots this long-faced, worried, desperate look behind him and I just bust out laughing. . . .man this movie is full of em . . . .

This might not be funny to yall, but I always bust up at the begining of the movie ...where Morris is in his do-rag vaccuming his apartment.

The part in Purlple Rain that I thought was funny to me was when they were doing the song "Darling Nikki" and it was after he got towards the end when he sings: "I woke up the next morning, Nikki wasn't there... all i found was a phone # on the stairs....."call me up whenever u wanna grind", when he starts screaming and letting out these loud moans and stuff right when Appolonia cries and runs out of the club and the he makes this crazy , wide eyed look on his face and goes.."come back Nikki, Come back!! and he was pointing and lookin' dead at her too, ahhh that part was o funny!!

Oh yeah my part is also when he was all humpin' the floor .He humped the floor at least like three times that shit was so funny, and sexy tho.
