I went to one of those sneaky stores here in NYC that sell CDs and DVDs before the release date. I watched three of the featurettes on the second Purple Rain disc and enjoyed them a lot more than I thought I would. They all featured interviews with Wendy & Lisa (Lisa looked fantastic--has 20 years really passed by?), Bobby Z, Dr. Fink, Jill Jones, Jellybean Johnson, Albert Magnoli, Alan Leeds, Marie France, and a few others. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were also interviewed extensively even though they weren't in the film. It was a bit strange when Albert Magnoli started to cry when recalling the scene where Clarence Williams' character tells Prince to never get married.

I was also looking around for easter eggs, but couldn't find any.
