Say for the moment that nobody knew who Prince or Michael Jackson were. Then they collaborate on a song that people hear. They would just assume it's two guys with great voices, on a song that one of them wrote.
In other words, the song would just be another great song with a great melody, but justing hearing the two together would be interesting.

It would be interesting to say the least. I have a feeling though that the only Prince MJ will be doing a collaboration with is his son.

"BAD" was supposd to be a duet/battle between Prince and Michael but I guess Prince decided against it. Can you imagine- "Who's Bad, you ain't nothin' you aint bad!" Would hav been a pretty funny video too.

I think the biggest MJ rip off from Prince, other than "Beat It" was "Speed Demon" off the "Bad" album. Remember that one? It was such a Prince song it was ridiculous. Of course not as good, but he was surely trying to cop the whole Prince vibe.

Prince beat MJ in a game of table-tennis and bruised Micky's nuts.

Then he declined collaborating on 'Bad',

Then he refused MJ's proposal of singing 2gether on the remaster of '1999'.

I don't think a collaboration is very likely, especially with the new route Prince is taking right now.

Prince declined to sing the "Bad" duet with Prince,but he DID offer Michael the song "Wouldn't U Love 2 Love Me",which Michael declined.

Gustavo...I understand your point,about Prince being a "musician" while MJ is just an "entertainer" so therefore they shouldn't collaborate.However,Prince has done songs with many "non-musicians" in the past...lol...so that shouldn't really be his criteria for deciding who to work it,should it?

ya'll stop hating on mj! lol, Michael Jackson has his own style, Prince has his own style, it would be interesting to see them together but i dont think their voices would really go well together, but they r both very talented and phenomenal people, let's just leave it at that

I'm going to put it like this....If P and MJ EVA do a duet together...I will burn all every last bit of my P collection. (something i've always said) Oil and Water do not mix..and neither should these two. P should stay in Paisley Park and play with pretty girls and guitars..and MJ should stay in Never Never land and play with little boys. Simple as that.

I would love too see this happen, with one of those big budget Video's.....I think it would be sweet, but there are more Michael fans that would not want to see this happen then Prince fans.....

I can't see it happening....but then again, I never thought I would see Prince singing with The Muppets either.
