All that discussion about live vs. pre-recorded guitar..... people mentioned that Mike Scott is helping during the acoustic set.

Does that mean during the acoustic set of the Musicology tour he is not just doing solo acoustic guitar? I thought he was playing everything himself.

Or is Mike playing some rhythm acoustic in the dark?

I think much of it was by himself, but I definitely saw Mike Scott up there towards the end. He was not exactly hiding, he was near the keyboards, but he wasn't in any spotlight either. I think, like you said, he was helping with some rhythm guitar.
