I agree with the last statement.

For me, "The Vault" never has any moments of excitement, which is unusual for a Prince cd. There are some pleasant-enough, laid-back grooves on there, but that's not enough for me.

I don't regret owning it, but it's at the bottom of the pile in terms of the Prince cds I play with any regularity.
