Hands Down 1999. Next Purple Rain. I pretty much loved his MINDSET During That Period and Some Really Good Songs Came Out of those 2 albums. I would say Classic Years are from 1982-1988. 1999,Purple Rain,ATWIAD,PARADE,Sign and Lovesexy. However I Loved All his Other Work Also Cause Prince just Writes Great Songs.. He Can Create Wonderful Ballads and Rock N Roll Tunes. Nobody is More Gifted or More PROLIFIC. Heck Nobody has the Blessing and Not One Person Even Looks Like Prince in Show Business to Play him..Ain't That Something? Kinda NICE..HUH???

I'm probably gonna get pooped on for saying this but my favourite album is Chaos And Disorder. It was the first album I ever heard and it will always be my favourite. I should say that I don't necessarily think it's his best album but that wasn't the question.

Parade relatively recently became my fave. Prior to that it was SOTT.

1. 1999: Not a single song ever bores me. No matter If I'm pissed off or really happy, I can listen to this anytime. The fact that 1 man assembled this boggles my mind. (Fav. Track: Lady Cab Driver)

2. Dirty Mind: Pure, Racy Prince...and one of the catchiest albums I've ever heard. The album that really caught my attention. Was in my car for like 6 months. (Fav. Track: Dirty Mind)

3. Rainbow Children: Jazzy and probably one of the most interesting albums ever released by a popular artist. (Fav. Track: She loves me 4 me)

4. Purple Rain: Great album. Stripped down to the core of what 1999 was I think. But also went a whole other direction. (Fav. Track: Computer Blue)

5. Lovesexy: What can I say that hasn't already been said. except maybe that the album art made me laugh so hard I nearly pissed my pants the first time I saw it. (Fav. Track: I No or When 2 R In love)
