Hi! Another question for today and maybe if I get enough responses for the week. We all have our favorite Prince songs (mine being Purple Rain) for one reason or another. The reason I started to get into to Prince is because I am a artist myself and I have never seen anyone put as much emotion in their music as Prince has, and for that reason, I am a fan. Prince has a lot of music (like you guys didn't already know that), but my question for today is, what do YOU think is his best song lyrically and musically? I know many of you will respond that Prince may not have a best song, but for those of you who have gone to the concerts over the years, which song do YOU think makes the concert. Or which song do you think Prince should not do a concert without. Your opinions matter very much to me as many of you know I have only been a fan of his music for a couple of months now. And one other thing, if I may, what do YOU the fans think are Prince's top three albums of his career to this point. Thank-you all once again for responding to this and all other posts I have previously done.

definitely "right the wrong" for best song.

i'd probably say "newpower soul" is his best album. there's really no comparison...

I'd say The Rain has to be the best prince song ever, the guitar solo is unmatched and the emiotion put into the song will make it a classic for years to come. do me baby and 1999 are up there too but they don't touch the rain

that one song...with that one part that goes like...well, you know. and he's singin about stuff...yeah!

I think Kiss might be the most perfect, but Crystal Ball may be the most accomplished.

Best song? Well I've always loved "International Lover". But he hasn't performed that one live in years, has he? Best single I would have to say "Raspberry Beret".

Trying to pick which Prince song is the best is like me trying to pick which one of my wife's titties is my favorite.

PINK CASHMERE !!!

1) The Linn Drum is perfect

2) The lyrcis are beautiful

3) The falsetto is in full effect

4) The layered background vocals.

5) The strings by Clare Fisher

6) The guitar solo

All these things are the perfect recipe for a classic Prince song.

Has to be the extended mix of Mountains for me....the best extended mix EVEERRRR...it's a journey through the history of funk.
