Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother/Wife i just heard that song 4 the first time the other day...man is that one beautiful song! its soo sweet and sincere sounding! the only part i don't like about it is when he starts ooover singing. 2 me that doesn't work 4 him.
my fav part is:If I ever shared a bed. It was only cuz I wanted 2 live up 2 what the people said, oh yes man is that beautiful! Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!

It’s a frolicsome ruse bereft of any true love sentiment,
Asphyxiated by the weight of it’s ostentatious whims, Made deaf by the bellows of it’s droning rhetoric. An homage to vaginas and not much more.

great song. love it. my wife does not like it. i told her it felt like a mini-story of how i feel about our relationship. she does not like the line about "sharing a bed with another". need i say more? 2toratora

Tack-o-rama.
Poor Mayte, having a flacid song like this has her dedication. I was listening to Controversy today, driving along the motorway, and I was really into Private Joy - that song is a million times more sexy and romantic than this drippy thing.

Always thought Lenny would love to have written this. I can hear him sing it (not in a falsetto).
I love the bridge "Rise up shine..." Check this song out at:

Me too. kinda felt like I just discovered it. I dig it ear shatteringly loud (Insert something clever here)

He oversings on the majority of Emancipation. Only disc 3 really sounds like Prince. I don't care for the song you're praising. It does take on a sad tone, after what happened. I still can't stand the CDs (with exception to disc 3). Luv & Peace, Alex The ONLY Catwoman review w/ Prince!
