I totally agree! When I bought the Sacrifice of Victor book, I was shocked at his wardrobe. I know that P has always had a different kind of style, but Damn! that shit was bad! I totally think he has come a long way (fashion-wise) since then!

The man really needs to not wear pink....I like most of his other outfits, just not pink or fruit loops...

That outfit he has on in the upper left picture is about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. He wore that on the World Music Awards while performing "The Most Beautiful Girl..". Scareeeee!

Okay, so those might not be the best pics from that era, especially the blue-green thing he wore singing The Most Beautiful Girl. That thing is embarrassing, and it was just as embarrassing when he first wore it - that shit never looked good!

That being said, I LOOOOOVE Prince's look in this era. Yeah it's cold, yeah it's cracked-out rock star, but I guess I must like the fashion choices of a cold, cracked-out rock star. I think the pictures in The Sacrifice of Victor are among the best photographs he's ever had taken. His typhoon looks killer, his eyes are broody, he's got a pimp cane, and they're all real mood black and white shots. Hot Hot Hot.

Need I mention that blanket thing he wore in "Graffitti Bridge" while performing Elephants and Flowers???? And that white stripe thing across his face? It looked like he got into a fight with the whiteout.

That was a rough period for Prince,and it showed.He looked VERY unhealthy,pale and skinny during that period (1993/94).He was also wearing too much make-up in those days.

The Versace/Avedon shoots were great tho.

The Glam Slam Ulysses stuff was goofy.
