1-800 New Funk How many of y'all are feelin' this project?! I can listen to A WOMAN'S GOTTA HAVE IT all day long -- that song alone makes me make funny faces! This is easily one of his BEST side projects of all time IMHO. What's the consensus? I know let's do a POLL!  La, la, la

Used 2 listen 2 it a lot when it came out.
Lovesign should have been a hit but didn´t get much airplay. Played these 2 very loud in my car:MPLS & Hollywood and also like Standing at the altar,maybe because U can also hear P singing and it´s a typical Prince-popsong.What ever happened 2 Nona?? I agree,it´s a great album! Love4oneanother | |

I agree,it´s a great album! ... so much of the music that Prince has put out has HIT written all over it. i've came to terms with the fact that because of the industry paradigm we won't see many more "hits" from Prince, which doesn't take away the fact that he's the author of so many amazing sounds! last i heard him and Nona were on the outs -- she was quoted in Rolling Stone or someplace talking trash about how Prince broke her heart or something. she does lend beauty and charm to the 1-800 New Funk project, huh? La, la, la
