Well, if her intentions were to marry a talented song writer and genius musician...based on this pile of poop song she did right to get out.
What is it with Prince in recent years...he seems to have reverted back to childish rhyming lyrics along the lines of... I love You The sky is blue You had my heart from the start and my dog but I own no hog Hazel the horse is yours of course but not the porcupine thats all mine Even on crap albums Prince used to have clever lyrics...look at Love 2 The 9's.. "Maybe you should have played an Ace,Instead you played the Queen....." i thought this song was about having to leave his woman when he goes on tour, though i read recently that he takes mani with him when he tours...so who knows? | |

No no no.
It's a song about vaginas. It seems like a million days since he had the company of a vagina. If he had a magic wand translates to, if "a he had a magic penis", which essentially means, if a penis is all that a man needs to keep a vagina around (which it obviously is not sufficicent to keep the company of a female). The song is basically stating that it takes much more than a penis to attract a vagina. U need patience, understanding, and caring. Vaginas are not as easily deceived as penises are abou thier counterparts. Have another listen. I'm sure you'll understand. | |

I agree with purpledoveuk about the 'clever lyrics'...honestly when I first heard 'A Million Day's I thought man, what happened?!! He must've been really pretty bored w/o his love... I LOVE "A million days"! Everytime I haer it, I think Of maybe P & Manuela getting into a little fight Then Manuela leaving 4 the night. Then P goes into the studio & Records "A million days"! I think that concept (Minus P & Mani, Maybe another couple) Would make a great video!! | |
