Back when Napster was still in existence, there was a song called "R U Horny". I forget the name of the artist who did it, but I'm sure some of you know the song that I'm referring to, since I have talked to several people in the chatroom about it. The song itself and the way it is sung sounds just like a Prince song. The singer even does the "Ooooh Ooooh Ooooh" in the middle of the song. I lost that song when Napster was discontinued, and I miss it. It was really a good, catchy tune. There were several other songs that were on Napster that sounded like Prince, but I forget the titles of them now.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Don't forget George Michael, "I Want Your Sex" etc were unashamely prince inspired.
"Everybody Got Their Something" by Nikka Costa is Sly Stone to the Nth. "Ain't Over Til It's Over" is Curtis Mayfield. Y'all getting Prince's music mixed up with the idols that inspired him. | |
