Apples and her man made me a 5 hour tape of performances and appearances from the Grammy's until now....holy fucking shit. I think I even made my mother a Prince fan, she couldn't stop watching it with me. I never saw the rest of the Rock n Roll hall of fame induction where they pay tribute to the late George Harrison. P stole the fucking show with his guitar...rock on!

I guess I forgot how great he was. I blame some of you ridonkulous Prince fams for it. Sorry if that sounds rude, but I know that the majority of you will agree with me. They take it too far sometimes but whatever, that's their thing and I shouldn't let it affect me. I just don't go in "that" forum anymore Lotsa weirdos.

So thank you Apples and a2grafix (did I get your name wrong? i'll edit if I did). I can't wait for the show August 17th. And ya, wrong forum but I'm in this one all the time so keep it here. Thanks!

I totally know what you're talking about Carrie. Between the retarted antics of certain "Fams", and Prince's sometimes goofball behaviour, its easy to forget that the man is a phenomenal musician and performer. At some point, almost all of us got into P's music for this very reason. In many ways, I feel that if P decided to coast from here on out it would be cool. He's done more brilliant albums than most musicians, and even his crappy albums are better than 90% of what's out there. When it comes to live performance, damn near NOBODY rivals him! Prince fans have gotten jaded, spoiled and whatnot. By no means do I think the guy is perfect, but he is still a musical force to be reckoned with. I guess its best to ignore what a few fucktards are doing, and instead pay attention to the man's music and performance.

Agreed. I fall in and out of love with Prince, and the Grammy performance was one of those gooosebump moments. And I love the way George Harrison's son responds to Prince - he's amazed and excited and damnit, that's how I feel about the guy too.
