So, i was wondering : has Per Nielsen been able 2 track down EVERY ONE of Prince's studio sessions after 1996 ? I mean it might b harder 2 know since he's more of a control freak over his people now...

I already found a mistake. Or an omission really. On page 247 in the chronology it goes through 25 November 1999. Turn to page 248 and itstarts in with 2000. What about December 1999 and the taping of the Rave un2 the Year 2000 shows etc.? Oh yes and also on 25 October 1984 it mentions Prince guesting with Shiela E. in the First Ave mainroom but makes no mention of the 30 minute set he played later in the 7th St. Entry!

Otherwise very impressive as usual.

Got mine in LA today, though I think it's been downstairs for a couple of days, I kept passing the white boxed package and never looked at the name...yeah I know, I'm an idiot. Anyway, I read through the first half or so, it's very good, though no pictures at all and many, many of the artcicles I've read before, though perhaps with a few more words added. I was dissapointed there was no Musicology review, since it seems like the kind of album Neilson's been wanting to hear (tight song craft, sparse arrangment, etc.). But oveall, with the exception of no pictures, it's a great book -- second only to DMSR, I think.
