She's the hottest thang on 2 legz and The Man is just the bomb... what an awesome per4mance. Why wasn't it longer!?!? The best pe4mance on the show, closely followed by the Funk segment. I was actually very surprised that Prince wasn't up there 4 that. I hope Beyonce and Prince colloborate in the future. Take that electricity from the stage and put it in our ear!

The third pic looks like, they're two lil kids that got caught plyin Dr.

Prince looked great, that suit was sweet!
Beyonce, lived up to her bootylicious name, in that dress/skirt

I was trying to figure out what it was about Prince's face that looked so different to me tonight, and I think it's that his eyebrows seem bushier or thicker than usual. Guess he's not plucking anymore.

Wow! I really liked seeing the two of them perform togeather it supprised the hell out of me. They really had some good chemistry going. I hope in the future they work togeather again. I hadn't seen Prince perform in such a long time I gave them both a standing ovation right in my livingroom.

I like pink!

This was a GREAT performance! He really showed them that he's still got IT.

I'm not crazy 'bout the HAIR tho'...!

I didn't think they had much chemistry at all together. Pair Prince with ANY hot chick with any vocal ability at all and it would result in the about the same level of 'chemisty' as he and Beyonce had tonight.

And I dunno but she also seemed like she was trying way too hard tonight, like her persona with him was contrived.

But like I said, people are different - you saw "good chemistry", I just saw Prince performing with another interchangeable pretty face who can sing and, while entertaining, it (she) was hardly riveting.

Prince kicked major ass though and he could've done that if had performed with Beyonce or with Bea Arthur.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! He looks SOOO good, and Beyonce looks gorgeous as always! can't wait to see the telecast tonight in Sydney!!!

Watching that scintillating performance just made me wish I had tix to the House of Blues tonite. Can't wait for that tour to come back to cali...I've got my money ready!

To the people putting down this performance:

This little segment wasn't for us- it was for all the people who have forgotten about Prince!

It's the smartest move he's made in an awfully long time!

Prince and Beyonce had great energy-like Mick Jagger and Tina Turner.

This performance will be an important stepping stone for the year/album/tour to come

The HOB shows, ONA Tour, NEWS-those are for the hardcores-there is a definite motive for THIS appearance;keep it inn mind.



P.S.-why all the hate toward Beyonce? Ultimately, she IS a legit talent; or would you prefer Prince continue to collaborate with people like Sheena Easton???

No, Prince did not win the Grammy. I thought it would have been better, if they did not do a medly.

I admit to being skeptical about Prince and Beyonce performing together at first, but it went very well. I was happy to see Prince dancing more than I've seen him dance in recent years (not to mention another nice suit that he was wearing).

Beyonce looked pretty as usual (she really is a beautiful woman). I liked the pink dress that she was wearing.

It really was a great show. The organizers of the Grammys took a no-holds barred approach to making it a really great event. I admit that Prince opening the show made it a bit better, but they also had a lot of other great singers on the show too (Outkast, Patty LaBelle, Alicia Keys, the list goes on).

I totally agree with you. The timing of this performance will ensure that maximum royalties are paid when Purple Rain is re-released and all that goes with it.

Hopefully it will fund loads of new work for us HARDCORES.

While I agree that she is talent and beautiful, I just wanted to see Prince perform. I mean, it would not have upset me so much if she would have toned down her voice a little. I realize that she is capable and all, but DAMN! I couldn't even hear the man... I enjoyed it and I do agree that it was a good move for him. I thought that it was a great performance and that doing Prince music helped Beyonce as well as Prince. Let's face it, Beyonce has a very powerful voice that is lost in really bad music and although I love Prince's music, only the fans that stuck around after Warner Bro's have really heard it. The one thing that W.B. gave him that he doesn't have now is more exposure because he is probably richer now that he was then. I hope that the next album is vocal and released for all to hear how talented he is..., cuz I like Outcast, Jay Z., and nameless other rappers and pop acts, but they are not musicians!

Ah...I couldnt watch the performance...I lost the first hour of the Grammy...which were the songs they performed?? I am happy to see Prince with his Telecaster!
I only saw Beyonce individual performance and it sucked! On the other hand, it was pretty nice to see Foo fighters with Chick Cores I hope P´s performance was great

by the way, did you notice him sitting by his wife (a beautiful woman)... did she have the baby?

Don't worry if you didn't catch it. She'll be pregnant and have another one in 9 months (she is perpetually pregnant and has a baby every 9 months) and that one will also be invisible both in her womb and when its born.

What did he say at the end of the performance? I couldn't understand. Also, why the FUNK didn't he participate in the tribute?
