Just for clarification, the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley and Gi Dussault" radio show is an actual radio show. We feature music, interviews and in-house concerts. We are not a jukebox radio show that loads up individual songs and lets them be.Nothing against that format, but we do it the old-fashioned way. We have banter and record daily shows. In addition, we are not a Minneaplis Music-only station. We play many independent and local artists from all around the world. Besides our 24 hour internet show, we have a live Monday show on WVOF 88.5 FM in Fairfield, CT www.wvof.org.

Yikes, I hope this thing is a success. But looking at it logically, the biggest name draw is probably Sheila E and her popularity peaked about 20 years ago. The main potential audience has got to be Prince fans and Prince is not even there. I would probably go if I lived there and if tickets were cheap, but I assume they are not if it is for charity.

Well, it's an incredible lineup they have for Prince fans. I hope they record it and sell a video or at least some bootleggers tape it.

As the excitement builds for the First Annual Family Jamm!, December 13, 2003 at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, check out the new advertisement for the show on our website at www.lilangelbunny.com and be sure to turn up your speakers (Flash Player required)! Tickets are still available for the event through Ticketmaster, with proceeds going to the Lil' Angel Bunny Foundation.

Remember, concert tickets make a great Holiday gift!

See you next weekend in Los Angeles!

First time responder...I will be attending the Family Jamm with my VIP ticket. To me, this is a once in a lifetime event. I have been enjoying Prince & Related Artists for more than 20 years. Having the chance to see The Revolution, The Family, Madhouse, Apollonia, Sheila E, & Jill Jones all on one stage is a dream come true. If Prince decides to show up, then that will be a bonus. I have seen Prince many times, but never the Artists listed above.

North Carolina will be representing in LA.

Peace

We share the same ideas, I guess. to fly from The Netherlands, Europe all the way to Los Angeles for 'just' 1 gig of (ex-)personnel sounds stupid on paper, but it's grabbing a once-in-a-lifetime (this one) opportunity! Those meet & greet pics will be worth the trip alone!

I wonder if it would be too awkward for Prince to show up, considering the bad blood between himself and some of the ex band members. From what I've read the split with Levi Seacer was not very amicable, and I'm sure some of the other band members aren't too fond of him either. I don't think he has a very friendly relationship with W&L either.

But then again, all that went down was long ago, so maybe wounds have healed. Still, I think Prince wouldn't willingly put himself in a situation where he could be surrounded by a lot of tension and bad feelings.

In conversations I've have with Levi all is well.

AND Wendy and Lisa still talk to Prince, even though you don't read about it, I assure you there's not the drama that people think there is.

"I wonder if anyone's gonna come to the show tonight."
"Well, I'll be there . . . "

I wouldn't miss this for the world, and will be flying in from Austin. (Not by far the first time I've gone to LA to see W&L.)

But I wonder how well its being publicized locally. I've been keeping an eye on the LA papers' concert listings, and haven't seen this on any of them so far. Other than a radio show in the Bay Area and Joe Kelley, I haven't seen any radio mentions either.

Hopefully the next two weeks will be better for listings. It's a really, really good cause so it would be good to see this go off well.

Well, It did get a mention on MTV.com this week (and the original story was on Rolling Stone.com), so people should be picking up on it

Great point Alliasan. The reason we are doing this week-long radio special is because we think it is a great benefit and many of the artists are our good friends. So, we support our friends' music and endeavours.

i sent an email to one San Diego DJ (92.5 which plays Old SKool music). DJ Lisa hadn't even heard of this and she's a BIG self-proclaimed Prince fan.
