[Not much more info... all I could find was that it is, in fact, "SOLD OUT" -Ben] I can't believe this. I just purchased non-refundable airline tickets and hotel for the entire celebration. How do I contact Paisley about getting two tickets for my wife and I?

I feel bad for you, but I think that purchasing the tickets to the celebration first would have been the natural order of things. Come on we all know that Paisley only holds 1,100 or 1,200 people so it's not like the tickets were going to last forever.

well,I did the unthinkable as well.I booked rooms first then airline tickets then lastly purchased the Celebration tickets but,as soon as they went on sale!I feel for you all who didn't get your tickets. You never know some may cancel.Keep checking with the club about any cancellations is what I would do! Most airline tickets (even nonrefundable ones) can be reused within a year of their date of issue with a minor penalty ($50 usually). And hotel and car reservations can be cancelled without penalty in advance of 24 or 48 hours. Of course this is not the desired resolution for those who really want to go to the Celebration, but it does mean that you have not lost too much money. What kind of imbecile would buy plane tickets for a concert before securing tickets to the actual concert? It's like coming to NYC now to see the Twin Towers.

I admit that I was very stupid for buying airline tickets and hotel on priceline.com before buying celebration tickets, but consider the following. 1. Celbration Tickets had never sold out before so I assumed that I would have a chance to buy tickets three weeks before the event. 2. The celebration was marketed as being for all NPGMC Members, therefore, I thought that all members would have a chance to attend; 3. There was no warning from NPGMC that tickets were limited; therefore, members needed to expedite any plans. Furthermore, it was my plan to buy the tickets the day they sold out. I need help guys because my wife and I really want to go and we are going to waste more than $1,500.

Well, you can buy 250.00 worth of daily passes, if all else fails.

Most airlines now charge $100 to 'reuse' the value of your flight towards another flight, within the same year.
I have a $200 credit with United until i use it again. Make sure you call your airline to let them know you're NOT going to take the first flight. That way you can save your $ and they can sell the seats.

At one time I thought Prince was just the greatest...
Now I think he's a total Azzhole and how could he only sell tickets to members ... He's always got this if your special you get more ... thing goin on. Now he's doing it with the memebers of the NPGMC and if your not a member your nothing to him ... Prince your an Idiot and if no one knows who you are anymore it's because of all your Stupid Choices and because you treat others very badly ( that you think are less than you )... and always have ... You Should make tickets availble for your fans who aren't NPGMC memebers who already bought their airline tickets ... Ya Creep, you knew people would be doin that last minute thing !!! Ur

Ur So Prince is an asshole because something sold out. Paisley Park is only so big and can only hold a certain number of people. hmm...maybe ill check out the site and see what it says.. How could that be possible, assuming (safely enough) that there are more members than people who could fit into Paisley Park? Use a bit of logic, won't you? Granted, not every member of the club wants to blow even more money on Prince potentially thousands of miles away from their home, but a visit to this site should certainly show you there are a fair number of daft wackos who would do just that. The Celebration isn't a perk like the free soundcheck - it can cost a bundle for anyone outside of MPLS.

The key word is "chance." All members DO get the chance, and they did. For three weeks all npgmc members had the chance to buy a ticket. And that's all the NPGMC ever promised. Like all Prince concerts, they give you the chance to buy tickets before the general public. And they did. But it is illogical to assume that they have a ticket sitting in Paisley Park for every single member of the Club. According to the club, the Target Center couldn't even hold all the members. So like every concert you have ever been to, it's first come first serve until they sell out. But you had your chance, you can't say you didn't.

I'm pretty disappointed with this sold out thang.
I guess 600 members all bought 2 tickets each @ 250 per ticket. Right? That should be right if the capacity @ Paisley is 1,200. So imagine 250.00 x 1,200 = 300,000. He made bank which is cool. They advertised the celebration on channel 7 in la on Monday but failed 2 mention it's sold out and 4 club members only. Isn't that crazy!!! Well the expenses add up 2 see this man although I'm sure it's a vacation worthwile. But when you've made plans and they get screwed up because NPGMC didn't notify people of all tickets almost being sold That's wack!!! insideofu

Hey, i am using logic...i figured that they considered the amount of members when they decided to throw the event... was there a purchase limit? should there have been? did they really announce a three week deadline for purchase? sorry that im asking these questions here...but the npgmc site gave no answers...

Somebody call a WHAAA-bulance! Cry cry cry, That's all you people do. Sold out means sold out. You had your chance and ya blew it. Do you think being a member is a privilage. Well, it IS! Either join or don't. Either wait in line to get in or leave. And don't complain about everything under the sun. I'm only 19 and I'm going. I have my plane ticket, hotel and rent-a-Van booked. A lot of you ho's don't know how to act once you get in anyway, so it's best you stay home. I wear skirts so short, when I bend over it's R rated. Dumb bruthas buy me anything I want once I'm at the show. You sistas really should learn how to work it.

Like any other concert, there's going to be competition for tickets. Albeit, with this one, the competition was on a vastly smaller scale, as it only involved club members. Still, like any concert, it was first come, first served. It shouldn't be so shocking. Do you think Prince is going to build a bigger stage to accomodate the number of club members?
You won't be missing much. I heard they're exchanging JW recipes that will help get you into heaven.
