monte	mechanical emotion??? was the song mechanical emotion written by prince??? i heard it is a duet with Vanity and Morris Day and it sounds very princely. synths 80's another question is the song 'undress' a vanity or apollonia outake?

DavidEye	"Mecahnical Emotion" was written by Vanity,and yes,it features Morris Day singing on the chorus.It's a cool song,probably the only great song on her album. The 1988 song "Undress" was written by Jesse Johnson,and it's not a Vanity 6 or Apollonia 6 outtake.

"Undress", along with "Faraway Eyes" is on the Action Jackson soundtrack and both are performed by Vanity. All Jesse Johnson; no Prince

DavidEye	"Mechanical Emotion" is funky,but,as is the case with most of her album,the lyrics and vocals are atrocious.Thank goodness that Morris saves the day.His part is the highlight of the whole song... "You display Mechanical Emotion baby...in my own discretion Oh,you keep me a wreck Baby,I'm sick of this mess"
