"I want to be a Modern-aire"

Was Modernaire ever released or finished? All I've ever heard was the clip from PR. I thought it was a cool song.

Nope,the song was never released in any form.In a 1985 interview with Rock & Soul magazine,Dez clarified the initial plans for this song.According to him,Warners were gonna release "Modernaire" as a single in the summer of 1984.Oddly enough,they also made plans to release it a year later,in the summer of '85.The song was never released and not much is known about it.Back in the 80s,there was a rumor that an entire album,credited to Dez Dickerson and the Modern-Aires,was recorded but never released.That's probably false,because if it really existed,most of us would already have a boot of it by now...lol
