Ok I usually don't read Amazon reviews unless there's dozens of them. I'm jaded I think most are fake. So what the heck does verified purchase mean? I know what I think it means, the person bought the item and that's it but in case it means more I'll risk asking.

Verified Purchase means Amazon is verifying that the person leaving the review actually bought the book through Amazon and is not a random person leaving a fake review.

is her book the better for those few 'shock' observations? i don't think so. i could have done without
them, i don't care about them. i'd have rather she'd provided some more of those funny or endearing
stories she used to share before. the book could have been twice as big, focussing on more pleasant
subjects. lord knows she had 30 something years worth of stories to pick from.

but i guess she's saving those for volume 2 or 3? girl, 'in search of lost time', this is not.

Kim was shown briefly at the beginning of the Oprah interview so we know she was there for that but I'm skeptical as well about her claims of being present at the birth of their baby and some other incidents she discussed. The teasers at the end were what I was hoping the book would cover since she had touched on some of the stories in her interviews and said there would be plenty more like it. I recall that in her interview with Andrea Swennson for The Current she asked her about the story behind Prince's light up shoes and Kim said that she would have to wait for the book for that one and that story wasn't included either. I was kind of disappointed about that.

There are a lot of photos of her at Celebration with fans.
