I think so too but he said at some of his shows in 2013 during The Sweeter She Is that his woman left him for "another brother,another 23 year kid" and after that said she left him for a girl. I honestly thought he sounded rather sarcastic and a bit mean in the song. I thought the line "sharing stories and cool clothes,party toes"was cute but the rest of the lyrics I didn't care for,so I could see why Andy wouldn't like them. I believe that he was referring to her during the P&M show as well. He followed by saying that sometimes in a relationship our significant other doesn't get their end of the joke. I believe it was one of the shows in Sydney where he also performed Time.

If you don't mind me asking,did they appear to be on good terms and did you attend Prince's show as well? Dr F tweeted that Andy watched from the side of the stage and that Prince did People Pleaser and Superconductor.

I didn't sense any tense vibes between Prince & Andy that night. Which was the last time I saw Prince live . Besides when I attended The Arsenio Hall Show performance that same month.

Regretfully I was unable to attend the second night at the Hollywood Palladium. When Prince surprisingly played his MARATHON record setting 3 HOUR PERFORMANCE!

GOD I miss that man.

Songs like “Don’t Ever Say” makes me wonder though. Besides, sometimes Prince added lyrics/statements like that to performances without it having any real authenticity. Still, the things we do know points to Prince initiating the split between them. Her reflective post for 2013 makes me also wonder. According to an IG post,she seemed to have started writing Don't Ever Say a few days after the show at The Palladium.The day after the show,Andy posted a photo of herself where she appeared to be deep in thought with the caption."Thinking Bout You,Do You Think About Me Still? Do You? from the Frank Ocean song that she meshed with Waiting In Vain in 2013 and 14.She also began performing Time Heals All Wounds around that time.Her post from 2013 is suggestive of a breakup though her poem "Frozen" posted on V Day 2014 was interesting too.

Thanks! That's awesome that you got to see him on Arsenio! The performances were amazing! I remember Dr Funk live tweeting about his show at the Palladium.I went to bed and got up to check twitter around 3 am and he had posted that Prince had done 50 songs at that point.According to Dr F he started the show with Big City/Superconductor with Elisa on vocals.

What she was posting on FB in spring 2013 seemed to suggest some problems.Also her lyrics for Don't Ever Say and Into The Wild(if about him) suggest she was in a relationship with someone who was pulling away emotionally and she was wanting things to go back to how they were before.
