I'm in favor of Prince's family sharing things with us, that would normally not be shared. At this point, knowing that he is gone, I'm grateful for anything the family wants to share with us.

Got his fanbase slightly excited by the prospect of something in the lead up to it and then gave us a song she's trying to sell on iTunes etc. Her Instagram says more to come. Of all the days to use as a stepping stone... This is in bad taste IMO.

The more I think about this the more wrong it feels.

I'm sorry, PennyPurple, but all she is sharing with the fans is a couple of never seen before old pics. Everything else is blatant promotion of herself. Not nice, especially when she promised the fan base a surprise. The fan base was not waiting to hear her sing, for ceying out loud, we were waiting for something actually Prince related. Something big. Like I said before, I was expecting something along the lines of that Deliverance release. Now that was something! Shame the Estate could not give us something similiar. It's actually quite decieving, if you think about it. Not nice at all.

It's horrible. She's been posting pics for a while, which is fine. Except... Post Prince related stuff, build up a social media following of Prince fans who want to see this stuff, then on his birthday launch her own new single. Just, wow!

I heard that even the Kardashians think this is distasteful self promotion.
