She told me something about the Heart shaped wrist piece that Prince gave her back in 1987 to wear. I thought so. Thank you for pointing that out. When I saw the clip I figured as much but didn't know for sure. <3

She has her opinions that was all that was said. Never said she was bitchy but all the opinions on Prince seem to have come from the era of women that he had more than just friendships with. "Old" Prince women, LOL!! I don't think who he was or wasn't sleeping with has much to do with it, I think it is because they all knew Prince the longest, for over 30 years at least, so I think too there is a very strong need to feel protectiveness over his legacy and they were all around during his heyday of the 80's and he really helped them with their own careers. The other protegees and muses who came much later in his life, Judith, Andy, Damarius, et al, didn't have the history like that, so as far as I know they haven't been throwing any shade towards anyone and are steering clear of any drama. Nice dedication from Jill. Love is God, God is love, girls and boys love God above~

agreed. also, the original hens are all over the first decade of his work so it's kinda their legacy, too. he wasn't shagging his "in house" singers (shelby, live, elisa) in his last decade either. Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND

The letter that is shown in the video seems like some kind of goodbye letter from Prince. I wonder when he gave it to her and why. She seems very honest in her feelings. Despite what I always heard (that Prince preferred tame, moldable ladies) it seems many of his associates are strong and quite visionary women. Cat, Jill, Robin, Sheila, Apollonia, Wendy and Lisa, they all have strong and very peculiar personalities (to the point of seeming a bit crazy - not in a bad way). I think they accepted things from him they wouldn't have accepted from others. That man must have been impossible to really hate, despite anything.
I saw P live only once, and I remeber looking at him doing his thing the words "emotionally unreachable" came to mind. I wonder if i was right in some way and how these people may feeel now that he's totally unreachable for anyone. I had one person a bit like that in my life and God knows coming to terms with his death was no joke. I feel for them, it must be hard and weird time.

nice photo and nice song. her interview is fun and funny, as usual, for her. it was nice to hear her explain why she got so upset about the revolution reunion thing. i appreciate her honesty. a bene placito

I don't want to take the thread of topic much, but no one seemed to care that the Revolution reunited for a show at First Avenue in 2012 when Prince was alive.

i hear ya. it was always prince and the revolution that pulled the big crowds, wasn't it. a bene placito

yep the Reign and it was a musical revolution, I mean the show in 2012 was great, but no one attacked them in 2012 for reuniting or for Bobby Z Dez Andre & Fink for reuniting the in 2014. A big part of me feels that by April 21st this year, that a part of the healing cycle will be complete and we all will move to another stage. Jill had to do this song/video to release.
