MT's recent facebook post about P. I was looking up Prince's family and friends' facebook pages. So far, most of them have been quiet except for Manuela..
Here is what she said..
I don't even know what to say right now. I want to scream and cry and just pretend this is all a twisted dream. I just want it to stop and for him to be left in peace. Instead, the focus continues to be to tear him down and it feels like he is dying all over again and pieces of my heart are dying too. I feel sick and sad, but also angry at enablers and leeches and vultures. Devastated.

Her facebook page is just all about animals. It didn't occur to me to check instagram. But to be honest, is it possible that Manuela, despite the dubious way they hooked up, loved him more than people give her credit. After all, she didn't seem willing to be an enabler.

Um. If we read MT's post, isn't that invading her privacy? Cuz, ya know, they're not married and she made a point to the judge about wanting to be the private Mrs Benet for her kid's sake and all... Or has she given up on that pretense? Just sayin | |

I am not sure that post constitutes giving up her privacy. She just sounds like she trying to at least come off as compassionate. I didn't read much about the divorce rumors but people are moody creatures and divorce can bring out the worse in people.

I never knew the man but I can't and haven't read any of the articles. Can't avoid the headlines, but it will be a while before I can read these articles. Can't even try to understand how family and loved ones cope with this stuff. It's going to be a long rough haul. Bits and pieces are going to come out to cast the picture. And it hasn't even been 6 months. | |

sure she loved him. sure things get messy in divorce. i'm only a longtime fan and seeing these attempts to drag him make me sick and unspeakably sad. i bet she is just as hurt- and yet she was popping off in 2011, hinting at this very thing.
- i haven't clicked on a prince article since his birthday. i don't plan to start now but i did want to see the memorial program from last wkend. Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND | |

but I'm not sure Mayte really took anything did she? The house he brought for her in Spain or wherever was in his name and was sold in 2001 I think I read somewhere so compared to Mani who is worried what everyone will find out about their Divorce settment.. I dont think Mayte got much from their Divorce. But lets face it theyre all cashing in a bit now .. Sheila E is touring flat out, Mayte is selling out her Belly Dancing and The Revolution etc all doing stuff.. and we havent even had a proper Family Authorised Tribute yet.. fanoftheman said:

Jill & Mani are saying what I've been thinking 4 a few yrs. Surrounded by a bunch of kids. Hangers on & oppurtunists. I appreciate the posts from Mani, Mayte, Jill, etc. I really look forward to hearing from Apples. Prince was so private with his personal life. Never gave the media anything to work with in life to try to destroy him. Now they're all making up for it in his death. It's disgusting! | |

I can't figure out why Prince would want to hang around kids so young (ok maybe I can understand a man wanting to be with women in their early 20s) but friends? I can't really stomach the immaturity of people much younger than myself for too long ..was Prince honestly lonely? or just emotionally immature? I am really sad this is how his life ended....I really hoped that he was going to live a long life still preforming into his old age like James Brown.... | |
