My god. No wonder Prince didn’t go on tour.

If Prince produced this album this is easily the most relaxed he’s ever been in someone else’s lap. Fuck that. If Prince produced this, I think of him now as a producer. I’d gladly pay top dollar for this without knowing there was any Prince involvement (though you can hear him in the background all over the place).

The first track is very recent, very topical, and on fire. A young Etta James hurting people before she sets the mike down and starts swinging for real.

The second track doesn’t let down in ferocity (Prince has a spaz attack from the crowd). The third track sounds like a radio hit. The final track sounds like a Marvin Gaye party held yesterday.

The horns are sick. “Cry, Cry, Cry” is fantastic.

You never know with Prince. That skinny motherfucker with the high voice.

tatocorcu	My first impression, which is the same I had with Suoerconductor, is wondering why he doesn't release an album that sounds like this under his own name...

love2thenines2 003	We are waiting for a true Prince - Josh collaboration for the next Prince Album as with the single X 's Face and kind of song like Angel in the Dark.....this is obvious that we don't need the 3rdeye Girls anymore!
