My ticket arrived in the mail yesterday. The flight is booked and thanks to Banks the hotel is booked. Nothing now but the waiting.

Don't do a taxi to Paisley- it'll be pricey. Rent a car would be much better if you are set on going. Been there once and if you haven't, I think every fan should see it in person at least once. Of course, going to an event there would be the ultimate, but just to see the enormity of it is worth it.

Even though this is a gr8 event. I feel The Revolution is not The Revolution without its sole creator leader. Its just not the same 2 me...But its a good benefit they r doing. Glad Bobby's past health problems is in the past. Don't make me out 2 b a Revolution hater people. I'm not.I'm just bias.

I was @ the first family Jam @ The Forum in Inglewood cali4nia years ago. The band did sound gr8. But it was something big missing and its biggest link missing was felt all over The Forum. It felt like a tribute with the honorary missing & it was just not the same. I don't blame him 4 not wanting 2 revisit the past.

Why wouldn't or shouldn't it be about him if he showed up? He is the sole reason of the whole creation... But i'm not hating. I still think they r all very talented & were a different kind of backing band one of the first diverse groups. Black, white, male & female...It was daring & no other band comes close to the diversity of The Revolution...

Cause back then they WERE a BAND...Prince being the leader. But they were all known and contributed to the sound he had. It is really clear when you hear his subsequent bands - with the exception of the SOT/Lovesexy band. Lots of great musicians came and went....but they didnt have a BAND sound to me.
