I love this. You are right, the music style suits her well. I just love some of the pics I have never seen before, like the first one. She looks so vampy in that picture.

Oh yes, the pictures are so rare and amazing! I loved this whole album I just wish Prince would have capitalized on it more. He did a really good job collaborating with her on it~

Great find! Yes she did the sword dance and that quarter flip too. Did you notice they called her Princess Mayte back then. Seems she was always meant to be the Princess. She was an amazingly focussed little girl too.

Yay! I'm so glad you started this thread dead! I LOVE Mayte! she has always been my favorite! I think she is stunningly beautiful and just seems (I don't know her personally) so sweet and down to earth. I always hold just a little bit of hope that her and Prince would get back together even though I'm pretty sure that will never happen. I think it would probably be GREAT for Prince but...probably not so great for Mayte. :woot: for Mayte! she's the BEST

Mayte really has a very attractive face. I remember reading somewhere that people considered beautiful have facial symmetry.

All of Mayte's features are symmetrical and in proportion to the each other.

Very beautiful. She looks a lot like her mom... but the daughter's beauty surpasses the mom.

Her dance/exercise video is for intermediate... but I think beginners can use it because she breaks down a routine in easy steps and her warm up routine is great for winding yourself down after a hectic day.

Now she did work on a beginner routine but I didn't see it for sale?

I think you would enjoy it... she's a good teacher.

but I am starting back up on exercising on a daily. I NEED to use her water routine daily. Its a great warm up/destresser.

She breaks down her dance video by elements

air- water- earth and fire....

warm up, technique, choreography and the performance itself.

I like the water (techinque) section for a daily destresser excercise lots of stretching in that one...

I think the air (warm up) is good also, but I get a bit of sweat going with the technique or "water"

portion of the video.

I like to dance anyways... so this doesn't feel like some boring exercise to me.

I hate to exercise and I hate gyms... so dancing is good for me.

It was my understanding that the house went to Mayte as part of the divorce settlement. And after a while, Mayte put it up for sale. I never heard if she sold it... but I imagine she did and use the proceeds of the sale to supplement her life in LA.

I believe she is pursuing her dream of entertainment business.

That takes acting classes, voice lessons, probably dance lessons and fitnness club to stay in tip top form. Plus she has to support herself.

So I think that is what happened to the mansion.

I hope she succeeds in whatever she hopes for.
