It was really bought more for her then for them,IMO. It looks to be the home of a modern day Princess Jasmine and I would love to know what happened to the furniture! Most of it looks custom made. Certainly in order to return to pursuing a career in the entertainment industry she would be better off selling that home and returning to LA.

It just seems like that small space in time, when they first moved into the home together, must be like a fairy tale memory to her. Unfortunately no one stays in a fairy tale for very long.

Do you own this? I am amazed at the amount of memorabilia that true Prince fans have. It is obvious that he went into this marriage fully committed to staying in it. I was not a Prince fan at this time and I don't remember any publicity around this marriage. It may have been there but I don't think they were on the cover of People magazine or US even for that matter. Given the magnitude of his celebrity at that time, and all that was put into this marriage by him, that is very suprising.

I agree with prodigalfan. Mayte is/was a real dancer. Well versed in different styles.

She could give you stripper hip-hop inspired moves, classy ballet moves or seductive/exotic belly dancing. Well versed

Thanks for that thread. Very informative, learned new things, about P and about Mayte.

I agree w/ the posts on that thread that Child of the Sun had strong songs. Her vocals are not brilliant, but they're comparable to many acts that are successful nowadays. So I wonder why none of the songs did well? Perhaps because it was the time when P was embattled with WB.
